About Dr. Pawelek

Chiropractor

Dr. Steven M. Pawelek, D.C., CCEP, was born in Buffalo, and grew up in the Town of Tonawanda, graduating from Kenmore East High School in 1991. After completing the pre-med requirements locally in Buffalo, he attended Life University-College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating in the Spring of 2001. Dr. Pawelek began Practicing in October 2001, and opened his location in Williamsville in February 2013.

During his education, and especially now that he is in practice, Dr. Pawelek attends numerous seminars, ranging from nutrition to rehabilitation including various Chiropractic techniques, to further his knowledge in the field of natural healthcare.

Dr. Pawelek received his P.T. certification in Chiropractic Adjunctive Physiotherapy in June 2001, and holds certifications through the American Red Cross in C.P.R., First Aid.

In December 2001, he completed his requirements as a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Physician (C.C.E.P.), which includes; extremity adjustment techniques, rehabilitation therapy, joint taping and bracing, muscle testing and the importance of custom care for both functional and structural problems. This is a full body protocol (spine and extremities) designed and certified through the Council on Extremity Adjusting. The degree is very specialized, held by only a few hundred physicians world-wide, and In the State of New York, only three other Chiropractors holds this distinction, and no others in the WNY region hold this degree.

In his spare time, Dr. Pawelek enjoys spending time with his wife, Megan, and their two children. He also enjoys golfing, camping, watching and rooting for the Sabres and Bills, all types of movies, and attending concerts at Darien Lake. He is also a volunteer fireman with Kenilworth Volunteer Fire Company in the Town of Tonawanda.
